Taiwan' s markets are mostly hidden in the blocks or built by temples. In Taiwan, because of the arcade, the continuous urban commercial space forms a very splendid street interface, but the wonderful life often stops on the street surface. However, most of the markets in Taiwan broke this boundary, bringing people into the blocks.
However, I feel that this sense of life has not been accommodated in appropriate public spaces, or even privatized, causing the city to be overcrowded. And because of the rise of emerging businesses, most traditional markets are being eliminated, just like ruins. I think the richness of a city has a great correlation with market culture. As the type of space with the highest social tolerance, it is an opportunity to turn modern public and social.
